Recently went and saw James Cameron's "Avatar" movie and LOVED IT!!!! Definitley my fav movie of all time so far haha! Dont have enough time or space here to talk about why it's so amazing but if you watch it you will know what I mean ;D

After watching it I headed over to the official website to grab a sexy Avatar wallpaper for my desktop, only to discover that the only 'official' wallpapers were just film screenshots with the logo slapped onto 'em. Dissapointed that such an epic movie should lack a cool wallpaper I decided to make one for myself!!

I probably spent WAAAAY more time on this than I should have, but considering how much I enjoyed the film its totally worth it haha! I spent about 2 hours alone on the pattern in the background trying to get a similar style to the stripes on the Na'vi people's skin. The images are just free ones that were floating around the official site that I blended together as well as I could. I also tried to improve the logo with some extra lighting effects for fun!!! xD

If you want to critically asses the image you will notice that on the edges of the screen are Neytiri and Jake Sulley respectively, and then in the centre you see them again but united. In between them all is images of Pandora and the human's helicopter/jet fighters. Together the image symbolises how the two had extreemly different origins but were brought together by conflict and adventure.

Wallpaper pack features plenty of sizes for both Standard and Widescreen desktops, as well as 3 different iPhone/iPod-touch backgrounds (my first time making them!!

). Hope you enjoy my totally unofficial Avatar wallpaper!!!

I'm still an amateur at graphic design,but i would say your work is quite impressive and i like it. You inspired my to do a wallpaper as well

. I had an interview today in university and they offered a place to me and after that i headed straight to cinema,to watch 3D AVATAR it's amaizing, a magnificent piece of art and creativity.Effects just overflowing It's absolutely another level of movies.AND i dear to say it's A REVOlutionary movie and I'm Deamn happy today.
